Government, Council and Social Housing
Government housing, council housing, social housing solutions for councils and organisations across Queensland and New South Wales.
Westbuilt works with government departments, councils and community organisations to deliver government, council and social housing across Queensland and New South Wales. Our approach combines practical home designs with off-site construction process to support projects in metropolitan, regional and remote communities.
With demand for housing continuing to challenge communities across Australia, delivering quality homes efficiently is increasingly important. With Westbuilt's modular construction process 80% of the building work is completed in our Warwick factory while site preparation and other works progress on location. This reduces on-site construction time, minimises disruption and provide greater control over quality and project delivery.
Our government housing solutions can support a range of project requirements, from individual dwellings and council housing to regional housing initiatives, community housing developments and larger multi-dwelling programs. By coordinating manufacturing and delivery, we provide a scalable approach for organisations managing housing projects across multiple locations.
We understand that government and community housing projects need to balance delivery timeframes, budgets, building quality and the needs of future residents. Our approach focuses on delivering functional, durable homes suited to their intended use and the conditions of each site, while maintaining the quality expected of a permanent residence.
Whether you're planning social housing, council housing, regional accommodation or a larger government housing program, Westbuilt works with project stakeholders to understand the scope, site requirements and delivery objectives from the outset.
With an established manufacturing facility in Warwick and the ability to deliver across regional and remote locations, Westbuilt provides a practical approach to housing delivery for government, council and community organisations.

QBuild – Texas Government Employee Housing Project
Under the Queensland Government’s Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) program, we delivered 13 modular homes to support essential government workers including teachers, police, and healthcare staff. Each 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home was installed with carports on concrete piers and steel stumps, adhering to QBuild’s strict QA and safety protocols. Managed concurrently to meet large-scale delivery demands, the project was completed on time, providing high-quality housing at scale for regional and remote communities.
