    The Queensland government has recently passed the Fire and Emergency Services (Domestic Smoke Alarms) Amendment Act 2016. This new legislation requires that all homes built in Queensland with a completion date after 1 January 2017 must be fitted with a new smoke alarm system.     Last month ended with a very exciting event – we handed over the largest home we have ever constructed to clients Mr & Mrs Neil and Reiden Jenman. Delivered in 5 sections, this home has 5 bedrooms, 1 study, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets.

    Craig and Sandra Martin moved into their new relocatable home in Cawongla last week. The home is based on the Burdekin plan and features Surian cedar windows and French doors at the front of the home and an 18° roof pitch.
